Finding Your Forté

The What’s Your Forté Foundation’s innovative program entitled Finding Your Forté is aimed at reducing and preventing community-based violence through sustained action.

Through this weekly series we educate and uplift Chicago’s youth to make impactful, positive choices. All teens (including girls) are invited to hear from today’s most influential speakers and learn athletic skills with Matt Forté. We play flag football, basketball, baseball, and soccer year-round. Students not interested in sports, are welcome to attend just for the speaker series. The mentoring comes in the form of our volunteers each week (they exchange information with participants to be a source of support) and utilize our Reach4Life curriculum. This app and coaching tool along with our physical mentor’s counsel students on how to deal with challenges – providing a roadmap each week for successful life outcomes.

Finding Your Forté, convenes youth ages 13-18 at Pullman Community Center every Saturday with students from over 25 Chicago Public Schools and surrounding educational institutions. If you want to register yourself or register youth in bulk, please email info@wyfortefoundation.org. Come Find Your Forté
